hello,
when i try to change the name of a patchbank in the TI patches map, windows says that with this operation the content might be not usable anymore. and this happens also.
in the virus plug program i cannot see a way to give a self choosen name to a patchbank.
is it possible to rename patches??? and how?
i am happy i got some empty patchbanks (and a lot of nice patches also) from jrob but its a drag if you cannot rename.
what am i missing? |

i do like this > doubleclick name of preset in the left side with the parts, then edit, press enter, then choose save and choose a slot to save in. easy like that, never had a problem.

if you are talking about renaming virus ti bank, it can be done this way - use windows explorer or any other file manager and rename `my patches.mid` to `whatever.mid` (you will find the banks in docs&settings/yourprofile/mydocs/access/...)
to rename single patches, just double click on the name in the mixer on the left in VC and enter new name ...
this way it works only if you use virus control.
good luck |
