virus ti problem ??

just turned on my virus ti snow this morning and when i play a patch especially arps they have gone all crazy and wont sync to anything,ive installed the new os and still the same problem?? has anybody else experienced this problem??

yo
Have u tried completely unplugging the virus from the mains for about 5 minutes.
sometimes they need a "cold"" type of boot to deal with weird shit happening.

i got a strange issue as well..when i have cubase openden but no sound is playing..the virus shuts down the lights for a moment, then a very loud noisy distorted sound comes out of the speakers for a couple of seconds..then stops, lights back on and everything like nothing happend..really scary..
didn`t try to reset the unit yet...
anyone else had this before?
it even happens with my fireface sometime ago..without virus connected but while switching from cubase to itunes for example..

hi mate,ive installed the latest os but i have been reading that a healthy computer = a healthy virus and a shorter usb cable can solve some problems ? so im going to try this when i get home.

Started happening to me just recently , i put in the new OS3 but it started quite after sometime of doing that , im running sx3 as well , maybe its the problem? it could also be because im literally hogging my usb ports on the laptop to work with so many outboard equipment , i think it could be usb bandwith issue.
Any solution guys?

Does it still happen when you unplug all the other gear? That would tell you something about the usb bandwidth.. |

Looks the problem with the latest OS is continuing.
I could give you a solution for the time being. Its not the best.... When i see the error message on the virus... (the red alert).... I just click on the LIVE button on the left.... The notes play properly... just that it is a note ahead.... So bounce it to audio.... and then make the adjustment with the wav..... Its a bit of pain to do this.... but at least it will not crack or go out of sync. Hope Access team fixes this problem soon.. its quite irritating...
