Check out www.access-music.de and try to find any piece of news that says the TI has been released and is in stores.
Ben Crosland is a sound designer who works for Access, as well as Mark who is an employee of Access are constantly feeding the Unofficial Access Virus Forum with news from the company.
And since the TI has been announced, the biggest thread is the "TI Shipping":

eheheh so tuntran make this ,
go to musicstore shop online , GERMANY , go the sinth part choose any new model of virus TI , ask for it and to your cart , then it will give u a fone number , call them to know if they have in stoke , i have here the magazine in my front , and they are selling it for 1549 euros
so if access say that they are delaying , how music store can have it ???????

very simple. U can PRE-ORDER it. It is NOT OUT. My friend bought it from the store in February and still has no sign of it arriving at his doorstep.

The Virus TI is NOT released yet. Sure you can order it but you won't get it right away. That having been said, it is a nice synth. Everything a Virus C has + supersaw wave forms and nice wavetables. When I played with it, the PC interfacing software wasn't ready yet so I can't comment on that.

i really don't know what to do to convince you !
All thos online stores list it in their catalog but it is NOT out yet.
As john_c said, it is a pre-order, and I know who did a pre-order (from the Unofficial Forum) and then cancelled it when the shipping date has been delayed.
If those online stores do not mention it is a pre-order then they are not honest, it is just marketing. But the TI is not out yet, check Access website or the Unofficial Virus Forum (which is constantly beeing visited by access employees) for the real info!
As simple as that. |

its very lame of this company to lie.
like imagine you see an ad for a new album by Infected Mushroom. *online order only* and all the shops selling it.
then you buy it and it comes 1 year later...
wouldnt you be a little peeved?
but ya... i want the Virus TI... not because of the TI ... just the synth sounds. maybe if they cant finish the TI they can release it just virus D? that'd be fine with me! |

I just seen it on many stores i thought it was ok.
Yeah its pre-order !!!
How Can access be so stupid... They've taken the other series out of the market, only advertise TI and doesnt sell it. So they dont have any synth at all to sell....
Or am i tripping ?

Thanks for an amusing thread anyways guys - something to keep us preorder customers entertained while we wait for the TI 
Im admin over at www.virusti.com (TI Forums) and I also moderate at www.sunesha.nu/virusforum (virusforums). Access employees regularly visit both these sites, and I can guarantee that the TI is not yet availabale for sale anywhere, other than for preorders.
Ive had one on preorder since the 11th NOV 04. It is a shame when a company with such a good reputation as access falls vicitim to an overzealous marketing campaign.
Heres hoping we see the TI in stores by the end of this year (unfortunately I think im being a little optimistic on this one!)

ITs all on pre-order by the way, but that doesnt mean anyone has got their preorder yet??....
i know for sure 1000 models have been produced and are ready to be shipped i also know for sure that the pre-orders add up to 20000, i also have one on pre-order, it doesnt mean shit...
email Access right this very instant and they will tell you that they are working night and day blah blah to finish the product!!!
and that whole birng in your virus C and pay some extra cash and get a TI,.....doesnt mean shit that they are released....
even if you look in Turnkey product guides, they are being advertised, fuck they have been advertised since last year november.....at last moment they were called back....and have been in further Beta testing since....and modified....the problem was the intergration between Cubase and the virus model
as far as Virus being stupid with this whole marketing campaign if you want to call it that.....
would you rather have a buggy fucked synth ,...or a true power workhorse.....Access arent going to put their name into distripute and release somthing early when they know its fucked....alot of other companies would, and then only work on making patches!!!
thing is to be patient....when it does come it will own...no doubt about it!
Sundrop....they arent lieing...they had to make the call-back.....no choice!!! i would rarther wait some time ,,..and get a working product then get a fucked product immediaterly
