Thanks, the old beta 3.0.0 starting acting up on me and I had to revert back to 2.7.5 I may give this one a try as well.
The email says it contains over 30 bug fixes, hopefully the ones that I've been having

Hey,
I know we've got a similar setup so can you checkout something for me.
I've been trying to record automation for the distortion section on the TI & it's not working for me. I used to be able to do it just fine with 2.7.5.
Would be cool if you could have a go at it & let me know if it works for you or is a bug in general.

im using the 2.7.5 and i wanted to updated but im afraid now is workin really killer

I'm using 3.0.1 and so is Arahat. The new features are really nice, loving the frequency shifter parameter to it and the new layout that it has...

I was able to do it in Cubase, but it was tricky since I don't have the newer version of the TI that has knobs for those features. But here's how I did it:
1. Pushed the EDIT button on the hardware to open up the distortion settings in the LCD.
2. In VC, I right clicked each of the knobs available int he "new" distortions (Treble Boost, High Cut). I selected the "Add Parameter to Automation" option available in the menu for each one.
3. I recorded the automations in Cubase with the distortion menu on the hardware still open on the LCD, using the 1,2,3 Soft Knobs available for their respective settings.
4. Voila! 3.0.1 Distortion automation on older model Virus TI.

In Ableton live 7, I just routed the distortion intensity to soft knob 1 and recorded that with little issue... it was having a bit of trouble running on my laptop in cubase, but it's just being tempermental.. it worked yesterday.
