Hey!!
need help on this one... i want to apply an effect to only one of the 16 channels of the ti control. How can i do this? for example applying a compressor to the bass which is on channel 1 of the ti without affecting the other 15... Is this posible? thanks for your help!7

The 16 channels are MIDI channels. They are routed to up to three USB audio outs. In Cubase, these are represented by VTI1 VTI2 and VTI3 in the mixer. Each MIDI channel can be routed to one of the three outs, so therefore if you theoretically have all 16 midi channels playing, they will only output sound on up to three channels. Each one of these channels can have its own plugins chain.
If you have your bass on MIDI channel 1 of the TI, you need to route it to one of the 3 audio outs. Then put the FX you want on the audio out your bass is on.
Profit!

you can choose different usb outs in the common section. Then route the channel with the bass to one of them and apply your fx. Then route the others to the other usb outputs.
Good luck! |
