Hey around..

has anyone of you managed to get the virus+virus control working on a 64 bit system like XP 64 bit?

so at the moment it doesn`t work but maybe with some kind of wrapper or something?

thx for help!           -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.-

Hm..too bad..

I`m actualy on a mac but my friend isn`t and he just ordered a new laptop and want to make use of the full ram capazity of 4 gb with xp 64..

but as he tried to install the TI it doesn`t work..

so i though i could ask you guys if anyone knows something like a 32 to 64 bit wrapper/converter kind of thing that actualy works..

he already emailed access but they said there is no 64 version on there list so far and he couldn`t say if there ever will be one wich is pretty bad for pc users in future when there will be just 64 bit systems out there..

especially as they just released virus TI 2..
wich is even build on USB 1..cannot understand why they won`t go the next steps..           -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.-

I feel the same. Access is really losing my sympathy there.
I read in an interview with access some explanation why they didn't go USB2 or firewire and they said something like they didn't want to make the Virus more expensive etc. etc. But to me it sounded a bit phony and I really couldn't see why incorporating a USB2 interface could be so much more expensive... if any 5 bucks USB-Stick has a USB2 interface...

As for the 64 bit drivers.. same same.. a lot of backwards thinking there. sadly. anyways. go mac. pc is trouble.

I highly doubt that the interface is the biggest expense... Sounds like its a case of "Ever heard of something called license fees?"

Yeah, my virus is the only thing really holding back the 64bit switch.

I plan on making sure everything else will work and if the Virus is still holding things back then...bye bye Virus.

I'll give them a reasonable amount of time to even say they are planning to do a 64bit driver.

I dont think there wil be xp64 support. Not even microsoft updates this version of windows anymore as far as i know. But yeah, it's also keeping me from moving on that theres no vista 64 drivers.           myspace.com/auralinvasion
