Infectded mushroom IMO can tweak any synth to get te sound he needs , me NOT
I don't have the skills of infected m. I need a certain type of sound that comes with that access. I know there's other possiblities to get psytrance sounds but I prefer tweaking on a access machine , even to improve my poor synthesis knowledge

Cause has a very powerful audio engine , In 10 minutes starting from 2 sawtoot osc,tuning and some filter I made a really good bass line , for acheive that sound with the gear I have now I spend 4-5 hours of tweaking on logic's EsM or on a Novation X-station , plus a lot of making up with compression and eq to reach the timbre I need.
Access can make this timbre in a less time and has a lot of surplus features

for sure it's great gear man.
get one but in my opinion, get the powercore u will save some bucks and also will get good plug ins with it...the virus powercore sound is great and almost the same as a virus C or TI sound wise,and u will be able to make those big basses don't worry about that...and u still might have some money left to buy a vss3 (very good reverb for powercore) for example
if u wanna get hardware of that range of price then you might think of something else in my opinion, like a moog (fatter sound ) or an elektron (less overused and more actual sound) |
