virus powercore users help please!

hello out there,
with the new powercore 3.01 software comes an update of the virus plugin to 1.9, from what i read?
anybody knows what changes are for the virus plug? had problems with updating, canīt use my sony plugs anymore, so iīd rather stay with the old software when there arenīt any major improvements with the 1.9 version...

your poco sonnox plugs dont run anymore on 3.01?
good warning but maybe just use the native ones of sonnox. they are as good in my opinion. there are some bugs in the poco virus, so if they are fixed its nice. |

i bought the plugz, here from the tc forum:
Window XP Users:
" Current versions of Sonnox plugins are not compatible with the first release of PowerCore version 3 drivers.
Current versions of Sonnox plugins will not be compatible with future releases of PowerCore version 3 drivers.
In January we will release new versions of Sonnox plugins; Windows XP users must upgrade if they use PowerCore version 3 drivers.
Sonnox will have new versions of the PowerCore plugins available in January. These new versions have several new features, such as Universal Binary compatibility for Macintosh and the ability to switch instantiations between PowerCore and Native, while maintaining the control settings inside a session. The new versions include licences for both PowerCore and Native for further flexibility. For owners of the current version, the upgrade will cost just Ģ15 each."
besides that, i read that there are no changes. only sidechaining possibilities and new design. so i just stay with the old version 2.2 that works fine.
take care. going for 3.x and then back to 2.2 is pain in the ass, including registry cleaning and stuff.. so if u not sure, stay with the old versions.. seems to be fixed problems in 3.01 cause i tried version before but iīm not gonna change it so soon...
still, does anybody know about the virus changes with the new update?
