hello
im havin troubles re-installing the virus ti drivers , since i switched to vista.
Any one got any suggestions on how to install the drivers on vista ??
Any suggestion would be muchos appreciated !

i don't think there is vista drivers yet. you better install xp instead if you want to use VC (and who would not want that)

if you had a working music workstation under XP, what was the reason to switch to vista? i think it's best to stay on XP because then you'll be productive with what you have and what works. or did i miss a good reason? microsoft introduced a nasty way of how companies need to implement drivers / how the verification process goes, which increases cost for the companies and delays the development process for new drivers significantly. ignore vista until everything works smoothly i would say!

SOund very much like the macs. I don't know if it s still like that but i remenber apple had to authorize every single program by third party, that meant not many devellopers were interested.
In a way if microsoft is doing it its a good thing, that will probably mean a very stable system, with less incompatibility issues I guess. Like mac once, used to be. |
