I recently bought Virus classic rack, and it kicks ass!
Its really nice, has 8 banks with 128 sounds - 1024 sounds in total.
Can play 16 channels at once (which is quite enough for me), has 2 oscilators, 3 lfos - and is extremely easy to use.

And of course, the sound quality is amazing.
You can even use it as a effect procesor, for vocoding, delay, reverb etc.

So to answer the question from the topic - I like it very much
Hope you will too

Cheers

ok now its time to give my opinion:

the sound-quality is very great, if you are very good audio-engineer. if not, this maschine will run you crazy. but i will manage to ride this wild horse
by the way, this maschine is not tight. there is always a minimal random of a few milliseconds, which is not good for making tight lines like basslines, so you need to sample and audioquantize it.

I had a Virus B and didn't like it really. Way too "plastiky" sounding for my tastes.           Me>You

It's not that I am spoiled by analog.
My next purchase is going to be a Creamware Scope system. And I always much preffered the Nord Lead to the Virus. It's not like I hate all digital synths.           Me>You

the nordlead had been my second alternative, i think its a very stable and easy-to-use synth. but my mood was sure that i want to have the spectrum of a virus.
