Virus c or Nord lead 3

I´m sure that you all know the potential of this synths...
My confusion is that i love full on trance and i don´t know what of them i could buy, if anyone have some advises for me i´ll appreciate.

i would prefer the virus: i don t know all the synths, but this one is 4 shure MADE 4 PSY...and high-quality made, easy 2 use, what u like more ?!?
but 4 shure u have to hear them if you ve got the possibilty.
if you like more to make "old school" go 4 nordlead, if you like 2 make "future-psy", go 4 virus. but i would go 4 virus too if i would do old style, it s a hammer-synth...all IMO.

well man good 1 !!!
we couldn't decied 2 so we got them both !!
they are 2 different sound machine and i dont
really think comparing them will be right thing
2 do ....
the virus got it's up's (listen 2 psysex)
and the nord got it's up's (listen 2 helduliom)
anyway if u finally decied nord -
go 4 the modular man !!!!!
u got an unlimited patches on the net !!!

Umm I have a related question.... what's the difference between the nord 2 and 3?
I mean there are a lot of UI differences (e.g. the nord 2 doesnt have a proper LCD display and the 3 has the LEDs that tell you what position the knobs should be at for a particular patch) and I guess there are differences in multitimbrality etc but:
does the nord 2 _sound_ different to the 3? do the filters respond differently? Or is the 3 just a 'bigger and better' nord2? It costs a lot more......
I bought a virus c about a month ago and it is the best thing I _ever_ bought. The most fun item of any description I ever bought.... except maybe when I got an old convertible cadillac a few years ago when I was living in LA
But I didnt have any FX units and am lazy so I wanted the virus's onboard reverb/delay..... I am seriously thinking about getting a cheap 2nd hand nord 2 though as well (hence this post).

The differece between the Nord 2 and 3 are
The Nord 3 can do more fm sounds than the Nord 2 More Polyphony. The Three can do every sound the 2 can do and more. Patches for the 1/2 don't work on the 3 and the 3 is at OS 1.4 so there is more additions in the future. |

Virus C is the best synth around at that price range! but Alesis Andromeda is analog and u can get even better sounds with it BUt is almost 1000 dollars more expensive. Nord Lead 3 is awesome, but Virus c and Alesis Andromeda are the tops of the top!!!!!
