Thanx guys, mo' crappy samples asap
i must work again on the core elements of my tunes, still have an "homemade-like" flavour when compared to pros.
I tend often to let some flaws in the song go until i get 4-4:30min trying to concentrate on the melodic-arrangements features, but indeed i'm finding these days that's not the right way to go.
rush&hesit are the big enemies,

think that gettin the Access is quite resolutive for hesit, i must have all in audio and rec it , find the right sound!now!

@freeflow:Elek7tro is a little beast, like all TAL's stuff, i like the chorus and UNO-62 too, very vintage!
i'm running on a mackbook most of your plugz are damn windows only

@Disco: would you like to spent a lil word about the esm? It will be wonderful
Do yo use overdrive?I tend to use as less as possible and put an exciter after esm ,but , again the fuck result i've posted above,
about compressor i find the platinum is the only precise circuit , vca opto and fet needs a very low threshold that makin the bass distort
THX in advance

M/S aint no Fashion its another way of mixing, thinking and doing, increase your potential for a surperb sounding mix. either do it or u dont

I am hardly the one taking about "advanced" techniques to get a superb sounding mix, talking specifically about expensive plug ins to get a good sound, when my actual mixes don't come even close to backing up all the tripe I've been posting, am I jizy mate?
Stop acting like a tw@t, it was just a joke, as there are a lot of people on here (not just you) that wanna learn and jump into the advanced stuff, when they don't even understand the basics.
Anyhow, we are ruining a nice thread, PM me for the shit talk.

I don't use overdrive at all. I don't use an exciter, but I do some times give a gentle lift on the high mids but also make sure there is enough modulation on the filter from the filter ADSR so that enough harmonics pass through and make the bassline "crisp" for lack of a better word.
I use the Class A_R...or A_U compressor circuit...don't remember which, but its definitely one of the Class A circuits, its easy to spot which one if you low pass the bass channel all the way down to 100Hz and have a listen, its the one that does not distort. I generaly like my 16th saw trance basslines, as clean as possible.
Obviously just because I don't use exciters, or overdrive, does not mean you shouldn't, its just the way I programmed my basslines for the first album.

OT: imho "Clear Skies" is a nice demo of great results achieved with knowledge and few good software tools. It has inspired and encouraged me. Thumbs up!           http://soundcloud.com/alphadelphi
