am i correct that with rewire 2 the use of a virtual midi device becomes unnecessary ?!?
---> are, e.g. with ableton live (...or logic 6, nuendo ), all knobs / parameters automatable ?

Yes but Logic only supports rewire1. so you need the ol' yoke to punch notes in Logic and have them play-over. Or you could be extra saucy and use the sequencer in Reason for the reason parts. IknowIknow its much cooler in Logic but will help you with the latency issue.
I kinda stopped with reason so much because I would get ASIO overload messages every time I moved a friggin note... if anyone has had (or conquered) this beastie, msg me.

...logic 6 is rewire 2...
i like reason so much, i m thinking about to use it via ableton, don t like the seq from reason at all, and live should be worth to try too...
