I just love Traktor for dj'ing!!
It does what you want plus a lot more. You can make each deck go threw a diferent output or the main mix threw one output and the monitor threw another. Plus its all midi controllable, so it's not just clicking around with your mouse.
Traktor 2: Its simple. It's exactly a DJ program:no fancy stuff. 2decs, a mixer, a recorder, looping and a filter with 4 knobs witch are really fun to play around with.
Traktor 3: A big perfection of the other version. It's better loading tracks, the sync button is more accurate. You can choose you EQ type and effect type (reverb,flanger...) so its a lot more complex.
I prefer the Traktor 2. I can control it better than the 3, I feel more custom with it.
I already tried a whole bunch of dj software and Traktor is by far the best.
Ableton live can be used as a dj program, but thats not its purpose. It has way more than you can use while djing. Its great if you want to make your DJing sound go thru your VST's, or play along with your VST. Traktor doesn't use VST so if you want to play along you have to have another program open hosting the VST.
So, Traktor rulez!!!

Don't know that program but that was the worst video I've ever seen! Sorry, but a remote control DJ? It's not enough that DJ nowadays sit down and do nothing, now they can literally SIT DOWN while they do it. And make the remote connected to the filter... you are reduced like that. For me 2 hands aren't enough, on the remote theres only one hand at a time. And then that DJ sucks, hope it isn't you.
PLEASE don't use a wii commander to play live
(sorry if I seem a little angry but I have an exam today at 6 and its its 9:30,my mother woke me up thinking my exam was in the morning and there is a construction site that started making noise today, right in front of my window.)
There are tons of DJ programs, and each one is different. And the program doesn't do everything, it's the guy playing with it that does. So learn how to use your program well. The best DJ program is the one you feel comfortable with. Kknowing how to use Traktor 2 for example is much better then just having Traktor 3 just to say you have it.
Peace!!!!

man stay cool!
that video shows that it can even be controled byt the wii remote u can also see in the recomended videos in youtube that deckadance is also controled by any of this ... http://www.deckadance.com/midicontrol.html
and this... http://www.deckadance.com/vinylcontrol.html
can host vst/vsti and it is a sampler etc... and many many more !
before u hate it from a video try the app and im sure ull be mixing in no time!
the app is made by the makers of flstudio
and im not the one in the wii remote video i dont have a wii!
but i was a traktor user since version 1 and i can safely say that deckadance is way better!

No competition.....Ableton Live
As many tracks as you want.
Have as many loops and fx as you like ready to trigger in sync from keyboard/buttons/pads.
VST support
Effects racks so you can control several parameters with one knob on your controller.
Sure it's not built to be a DJ software so you have to get your head around how to use it as such, but therein lies it strength...you can do a lot more with it than with a specialist DJ software that is designed to emulate a pair of decks.

Lots of potential with Ableton, but it also does take beat-mixing out of the equation. Don't get me wrong, I've never gotton hung-up so much that I feel that beat-mixing was essential to Djing, but it's a different process. Constructing a set in ableton is pretty freakin fun, and I'm not trying to make it seem less or more, but it is a different creative process.
Traktor is a good program, and it's laid out well in my opinion. I wish it did VST, as that is what drew me to try Deckadance. Great features, but I really dislike the layout. Mixvibes seems to be the best combination of both, even though I feel it & Traktor are too expensive.
Like Ableton Live, MixMeister is more of an arrangement than a traditionl DJ mix, and so why bother with MixMeister when Ableton is so top notch already.
And yes, getting midi controllers is an absolute must.

@Dharma Lab
Sounds like you are talking about using arrangement view in Live?
If you use session view you can cue, loop and trigger the tracks using a controller.
I never "construct" a set but perform it without ever touching the mouse, and it really not that different compared to Traktor apart from the added possibilities.
