i don t like it neither...
the sound is good, but i don t like the gui and how it works.
--> chk the cube of the same manufac...nice thingy, though u need sse support...

I don't see any connection between Tera and virus wannabe sound.
Tera is a very high end synth programming synth. Not by mistake dcota is made on virsyn engine.
  Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

tera 2 is like a supercharged d'cota : like trip says d'cota uses the same engine, but tera 2 has loads of extra stuff.
In particular it has multiple syncable multistage envelopes ... so it feels a bit like Absynth in that way...
