There's plenty of great violin samples out there, but I'm not sure what you want as far as Arabic rhythm..are you asking for loops?
Otherwise, Symphony Strings (Sonic Reality) or HALion Strings are pretty nice.
Haven't heard any particularly good presets other than that..

for violins - eastwest ra got some real nice indian violin patch with keyswitches and all which would knock the socks off any producer aside from the strings it got some real sick plucked instruments n wind instruments, and perc i recommend u that one
also symphonic pro platnum from east west is great but aimed more for orchestra as they come with a ambiance in the sound that of a concert hall might be great if your into film work.... as far as if u aint got much cash go back to the dark art of sampling buy some string quartets and sample to later pitch shift and twist/mangle... |

that looks like something out of starwars LOL
radikal as hell, i got a violin i stoled when i was 15 from school but i never learned since i was into the guitar the violin is a beautyful instrument but man is it hard to play my hands feal crunched up, i got kinda big hands i think the violin was ment for peoples with smaller hands or maybe its my poor excuse to never have really been able to play it LOL cheers and good luck with the purchase of ya electrik violin |

I believe there is an orchestral expansion to the Nexus rompler, i am pretty sure it will contain a few violin presets.
