Is it possible to copy vinyl tracks onto CD's and maintain a decent audio quality? I think I already know the answer to this but some of you out there are way more knowledgeable than I am on this kind of stuff. Cheers crew. |

of course it is possible, but you need a good vinyl player i.e. "turntable", and a good audio interface. and the record better be good :-| after setting all this up, u'll record the tracks, and run them via some "denoiser" plugin. voila!

yep ... there's a few Denoisers out there. anyway i'd be very carefull with regular filters, cause the record is a little bit cutoff signal, and then if u filter it roughly ... hmm it'll sound castrated. the denoiser is cutting only very weak noises (clicks/popps)

Thanks guys but can you explain this a little more? I have no idea what a denoiser is, or where I would get one. Getting a turntable is no problem and I have a PC to write CD's but how would all of this work together? |
