Vinyl is better than AudioCD. Do not debate.

i explan: most of labels today when they release CD´s they are expecting that DJ´s buy them...

most of people who buy music today, its not because of earing it... but because they want to play it as DJ´s... doesnt matter if its digital or physical cd...


But there´s no doubt that vynil have more fatter sound and it works better on dancefloors IMO

***** having done the club scene since the 80's I can say without no doubt vinyl sounds better and if more psytrance was on vinyl it would probably be more liked by dj's and clubbers worldwide just due to the fact that they would hear a less harsh sound then they do when hearing a cd being played loud in a club. For instance any one hear who has dj'd for years will agree as soon as a vinyl dj is done and the next one is cd based it looses it ooomph and becomes harsh and edgy sounding. And until all the hi's are lowered and the lows adjusted it stays that way, but by then the crowed has already lost the flow just due to the fact the groove they were in became edgy and harsh...

so... if all the DJ´s had to play Vynil, they would had to buy them... that would automaticly drecrease the number of "fake" Dj´s out there...

it would also automaticly give a reason for labels start releasing stuff (vynil only)

i am not sugesting that ordinary people should stop acessing music...

what i think is: if the vynil was standard on DJing, then there would be a purpose for labels release only in Vynil and give away free mp3 for ordinary people consume, either on youtube or whatever...

this is something that allready crossed my mind a couple times, and this topic made me thing about it again...

easy acess to consumers, vynil for professionals, more quality on dancefloors for sure, and less piracy, this would definitly give more "professionalism" into psytrance scene IMO.

***** I agree to some point but on the professionalism side what needs to happen is all the dj's who play parties must know how to count to 4, what a phrase is, how to layer and if not staying in key some progression would be nice too many train wrecks by friends of promoters ruin this aspect of the scene.

no, i dont think so, CD´s may die as comercialized product for sure, but not as a format... since it will be allways anyone with a CD Drive recorder on a computer... doesnt matter how old, it will be allways more easy and faster to record a cd than a vinyl...
