Overview:
After releasing XLR8R on Electribe, Marc shows to whole word that he is a techno maker from now, eventhou Ballroom supposed to be more club house style with HIT like "Passenger" which been played at any possible club in the world. His new addiction is present in here.
Hard beats and hard lines, well he lives in Germany no wonder.
Review:
Remember me,
General expression in it IS Depeche Mode, acid bassline, hard groove, singing in Gahan's style. Style variates between house, trance, electro and techno so it should be very intresting track to hear for everyone, moreover it has great potential for any DJ to fit it in his/her set.
Minimal and gentle as Ballroom always been just now it is TECHNO. Recomended for those who like F.Beckers - Switch
Girl on the floor,
Melody lines from old song 80's song, forgot name, old git. Still the singing in Gahan's way. 80's house that's it! Slow, melodic and sexy. Any 80's lover will enjoy this track.
Conclusion:
For a change after whole teh world had remixed Depeche Mode, Marc O'Tool does his friendly version of tracks which seem to remind Depeche Mode's mid-depressive time (mid 80'). This will be fine release for a DJ, Depeche Mode fan and 80's house lover.
