How can I not go to this?

I am on the other side of Brazil at that time, but I think I will have to make the trek.

Can somebody tell me where exactly the location is in relation to
1) Sao Paulo airport &
2) How long a flight from Salvador would be?

Thanks all...
Have a good time.... All the time!

Well, Amparo is a small town situated in the countryside, some 140 Km north by northwest from Sao Paulo. (About 1 hour 40 min car ride from Sao Paulo´s Intl. Airport). The flight from Salvador, Bahia, to Sao Paulo takes about 1 hour and a half. Attached, a link to a map displaying highways connecting Sao Paulo to Amparo. And for those of you who know nothing about the local currency, ticket prices are: USD 35,00 up to February 24th and USD 43,00 from then on. (This prices buy you the 4 day ride; No single day ticketing available). Lineup timetable to be published on a daily basis, on the spot.

Thanks Electric Bungalow, you are a wealth of information!

This line-up keeps getting better and better!

Dimitri as well...

Arrrrgggghhhh!

Just as a matter of interest - what do you native Brazilians suggest for a one-time Carnival traveller like myself from Australia, who loves psy and parties. Carnival in Salvador or Solaris? Remember, it is likely that I will never experience carnival again...
What to choose?          Have a good time.... All the time!
