Bonky (RIP) was Onno Borgen from Amsterdam who died at the beginning of this year.
He completed his album shorthly before his death.
Bonky surely has a very unique style. This is an album that you'll either love or hate. You cannot stay indifferent to it.
This is one of the most creative and genius albums I've heard in a very long time.
He manages to combine hip hop, jazz and even old style country music with trance. Many parts of the tracks made me laugh - like the track about Bruce Lee. Couldn't erase that smile of my face.
This album is also very very psychedelic. All these styles conmbined together give it a very surrealistic aspect.
It's so sad such a talent is no longer with us.
This album is a great way to remember him.

this disk is full of fresh ideas and each track has its own surprise. so psyschedelik, so great, you never know whats going to hit you and when.
exactly as before, bonky gave us a present.
buy it, listen to it, try to understand it, and cherish it, 'cause this one is a classic. |

I think anything that comes from Doof Records is a pearl. from Triund to Acid Test to Kopsess etc... these guys are diffrent innovative and dripping with acid!

Bonky strikes back for the ultimate time with this second and last album...
The ideas, we already spoke about it RaverGirl  , you are mentionning were already in the first Opus "Bonky" ... with 4 exemple crazy "Bank" and hot spicy "Tequila"..
I am very curious to hear this new sonic delirium..

i heart Bonky! this cd kicks my ass and i love it! One last psychedelic present from him. The video on the cd is really cool as well. I would have loved to been able to see him play live.

I just heard this album for the first time. OHH MY GOD. Finally, a 100% PSYCHEDELIC TRANCE album. Not afraid to use complex grooves and mindbending ideas, keeping a sense of humor, creativity to extremes. BRILLIANT.
Way to go Doof Records, this album will is the best way to remember this extremely talented artist.

this is extremely psychedelic and very cool i liked it a lot and enjoy its sense of humour and twisted tones.. a great shame this talent is no longer with us.
amusingly the sample in the track "no idea" mentions my place of work and the answer to the question is asymptote btw
