psychedelic its something purely phisiologic, nothing to do with the spirit o that sort of things.
its a comvination of sensations feelings and thougts the strnght of the psychedelic its poportional to strenght on the stimulation.
that is it for me
and in a track, i think, the same...
a track i think must acomplish 2 things to make me feel psychedelic.
first one.
it needs to have a familiar sound.
i mean its prety hard to fully understand a style of music when its something extremely diferent of the music you usually hear.
second one (the hardest to achieve i think)
recomvination of ideas (creativity) (making or using new sounds, lines, styles of playinn, breaks, riffs, samples,...etc.) and interpret thess in a psychedelic style, wich in my opinion have very flexible "rules" than other styles cause the intention its to have an abstract sense, i mean like make music not so linear and yet not so incoherent
psychedelic styles can sound prety waky dinamic agressive and tripy enough to make posible a link with the brain activating voluntary movement, thougts and diferent feelings, all this with the power of sound stimulation. i think this make us posible to enjoy larger tracks than in other music styles, because the sounds are making us really trip and lost the true sense of time (like many drugs).

But still...
From my side looking are many things involved to make some track "psy".
First the name of a group or a producer, then the name of a track, label and the mighty message that this track represents.
Today we have too many artist with nothing in it but music, and psy is not just music... it is a meesage from higher densitys.
That means that in some very important tracks are some great informations hidden.
The people must learn how to encode this messages and how to transform audio to visualy and spiritualy based knowledge given to us thru many great artists in this scene.
