This mix brings together Indian classical, ethno-ambient and chillout sounds to recreate the feeling of reaching a state of trance. The emotions behind the music were brought about by a documentary on the Kumbh Mela.

I just heard 'sweet pain' by n. fateh ali khan and michael brook, and I must admit its some really peaceful music.. am really looking forward to listening to the whole cd.. is 'night song' the name of the album?

Thanks you everyone I had a great time trying to integrate other sounds with psy-chillout. I love how flexible this genre is. Every mix makes me believe more and more that I've found my niche. Now I just have to work on getting better at telling the story.
Its the only time that the words 'the music put me to sleep' is the best compliment ever! Thankyou droozi!
I've been listening to a lot of atmospheric dark music these days and I'm trying to figure out some way of layering it with ambient chill... just to try something new.
I spend way too much time selecting my playlist and exams are around the corner, so I hope to record it by end November. |
