P.O.T.S are Thomas Wilhelmy and Achim Luethje, germans.
debut album "Are you scientific enough " last year on Sunset Rec.
very good progressive music with tribal touches.
last release was the Peaking Polka EP on Plastik Park...great music as usual.
They did a live set here in São Paulo a couple of months ago...kick-ass stuff.
the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.... |

The Prisoners of the Sun album is remarkable, one of my favorites.
And if you happen to really like their stuff, Achim Luthje has a bunch of side projects:
Sonic Freakuency - Achim Luethje and Lars Huebner
Adrenochrome - Achim Luethje
Expect - Achim Luethje and DJ Sterntaler
They tend to appear on Tatsu and Plastik Park releases. |
