Almost Dead Style Of Trance Without a Name

Once I tried to describe a style of Trance and than I realized that it has no name. So I called it just Psy trance. It seems like too general description. This style was before full on wave. The style of 'Twisted' Artist or Albums like:
Infected mushroom - b.p.empire
Psysex - hardcore blastoff
Koxbox
I know that trance is being involved and we shouldn’t label music, but I see this 'Psy Trance' at a style not less than prog or tech.
Are there still artists that produce in that style besides 'Twisted Rec'?

I know what you mean, actually... full-on/progressive are useful ways to categorize a lot of stuff, but there's always plenty that doesn't fit... incidentally, it's often where you'll find the really worthwhile material. I have a directory simply entitled "psytrance" for the stuff one would be wrong to attribute to any particular movement. In here one will find albums from Prometheus, Droidlock, Jupiter 8000, BLT & Danny Makov, Panick, Four Carry Nuts, Uni... and on and on.

yes but is true, there are some "acts", that simply don´t fit our classifications..but i really dunno how to categorizate it, all i know it is good they exist, so can keep us in mind, that things are not that just simply has we sometimes think they are

and now back to the topic:
When full on appeared, the known Psy Trance moved to the corner. it was called psy Trance, wasn't it?
And the other styles; prog, Goa and tech. and everybody knew the meaning.
Now if someone wants to describe it - it's not an easy thing.
