On November 18th, 1015 is proud to welcome trance legends GMS to San Francisco for their Shiva Space Technology Tour.

really interested in hearing Christer more than anything else. I hear his mixing is flawless, and he truley knows how to work a dance floor.
Also curious to see how 1015 transformed this time
The last Fusion was very nicely done, so lets see what we get this time around.

wish i could be there....quite a drive for me to go alone....maybe GMS will make it back here one day soon.
how's GMS live? (if anybody ever saw GMS live) can they perform good live? |

i wouldnt say GMS is a good live. Its a lap top and a 18+ channel mixing board with alot of mily-vanilly style pantomiming going on
There is almost a minute long breakdown after every track with just a single atomspheric sound running to bridge the 2 tracks together, which allows for the crowd to provide the much expected applause
The real treat of this show i think is the SST tour

Yeah man, GMS its a good live performance, i saw when gms was played in brasil a Tranceformation and Solaris festival this year in Brazil, and also they have a new cd Emergency Broadcast with the live version track song Juice. Its coll.

Umm, so this describes about 99.5% of the psytrance acts out there today. If I was going to decided whether or not an act was good based on how they presented their live set then there wouldn't be too many out there that would stack up.
GMS is amazing live, I have never been dissapointed by them. Their tracks are made for the dance floor. They are some of the elders of this music, even though they are still younger than most of the new acts out these days.
Nuttiness will enuse when GMS comes to town! |

yeah ok, that is a fair assesment.Most lives are guilty of that.
The thing that always gets my goat about live acts
esp. now that Abelton is out there, is the overly long dramaitc breakdown (insert crowd applause here) in between tracks.
I think everytime it happens its kills off a little energy the floor has built up. Granted i approach this with a dj's mindset and not a producers,and would be curious to hear a producer chime in on this with their opinion.
Even way , way back in the day i used to rember watching Chemical Brothers, Deep Sky and many of those old super big lives go seamlessly from one track to another.
Many psy lives do it as well, so those big breakdowns / gaps between tracks for me are always the 1st thing i critique about a live

Really look forward to come to play in SF, never been there before and heard so many great things about the city
Some corrections of the first published post:
GMS is not part of the Shiva Space Technology
PhasePhour (live) and Christer is from Norway.
However, we will have a great party.
