I still miss Tristan but Cosmosis is shweet too. I like his new stuff...less melodies than his usual style and drives you with trancy rythm. Good luck with this and to people who involved.

I was quite lookin forward to him
Bilbo is more than a welcome replacement though. i really liked him at Thump last time he came out west. |

Tristan is vacationing in Goa right now which makes it quite a trek to come to California. We're going to wait until he gets back to the UK and bring him sometime this summer. stay tuned... I spoke with Billy today and he's excited to play his new album for everyone.

Cosmosis has always produced quality dancefloor, dirtfloor, or in a cloud tracks. From the very beginning.
He was once quoted as saying something to the effect of, not only does he attempt to make tracks that you can drift off too or expand your mind with, he also wants to make tracks you can shake your bumm to......That has always stuck with me and has always given me a good feel of what his music is all about. Cosmosis is one of the originals and is still producing, not beginning to produce quality music..
All should come out for this. He is a nice guy and the love shows in his music.

Cosmosis (aka: Mumbo-Jumbo, Laughing Buddah) is one of the original artists that, along with Total Eclipse, Hallucinogen, Man With No Name and Astral Projection, pioneered the Goa and Psy-trance sound in the early nineties, releasing one of the first Psy-Trance artist albums, Cosmology, in 1996 which is generally regarded as one of the classic Goa albums.
Cosmosis then went on to produce the 1998 release; Synergy, also Widely regarded as a Psy-Trance classic.
Later album releases include: Intergalactic in 2000 and Contact in 2002 and Speaking In Tongues" with DJ Kuma as Mumbo Jumbo in 2003.
Bilbo Bagginz, the producer behind Cosmosis, is now as much in demand to compose music for motion picture as he is for live appearances to play his distinctive brand of tongue in cheek, full power Psy-trance music on dancefloors around the world. He is currently involved in creating the music for several 3D computer animations/music projects for release on DVD.
Bilbo divides his studio time between scoring music for animation, making full power dance music and touring Cosmosis worldwide.
