I was wondering about how many people are actualy listening to all those internet radio stations... nowadays with broadband connection becoming a standard this kind of broadcasting is yet to be exploited... so do you tune in? If yes please write down some internet radio stations worth mentioning...
So far I found these ones:
www.di.fm <Digitaly Imported>
It's a very professional radio station with 17 radio channels from Salsa Stream to Goa-Psy Trance and other styles as Modern Jazz, New Age, House, Techno and even Classical music (for all channels visit site). It's free and they play music 24h a day, no commercials (which is cool). It applies to all connections and serves tracks encoded from 20/56k (for modem users) up to 160k (cd quality music) for broadband users (although you must pay a monthly fee for this service).
For me personaly the only interesting channel is Goa-Psy Trance (the playlist is pretty big, even if you're listening to it 5 hours daily it's not becoming repetitive). The downside of this channel is that it's not going to please an "underground scene taste", some might even consieder this station as a Pop-trance event. There are some regular live DJ sets as well.
I was tuned to this station for quite some time until I discovered something more applicable for my ears... it's called psycho trance (radio station) and it's hosted on live365.com you can find it here:
http://www.live365.com/cgi-bin/directory.cgi?quality=0&searchfields=TAC&genre=search&searchdesc=psycho+trance
Not like the other station I was talking about (that plays artists like Skazi, GMS, Astrix, Space Cat, Talamasca, Halucinogen, Astral Projection, Infected Mushroom etc.) this station stands for the underground scene the one that grows on darker psychodelia and night dancefloor killers. Playing artists like Xenomorph, Fungus Funk, Kindzadza, Penta, Azax Syndrome, Toxic, Osom, Psychotic Micro... and if only the playlist was bigger and all those awful (well ok.. they are somehow bearable) live365 commercials (you can remove them from blending with the playlist by paying a monthly fee) this station would be the best and probably impossible to abandon.
Ok.. your turn..

http://www.live365.com/stations/yobbleyobble
as far as I can tell, this is the only web radio station specializing in middle of the nite, psycho music. it is based out of san francisco, and is associated loosely with the artists that live their, and Misstress of Evil records.
it has music on it 24 hours a day, with several live shows this week.

yobbleyobble is the same radio station mentioned above, you can use dirt dolphins link or mine, nevertheless you'll tune in to a great night station...
The connection is indeed close to Misstress of Evil Records, the owner is one of the guys from Fractal Cowboys... |
