Hi!
Is there any IDM fans?
I'm listening to IDM for a long time and it can't cease to surprise me! Here is my favorite IDM artists.
Lucine ICL
Autechre (aka Ae)
Gimmik
Deru
Fizzarum
Christmass Tree Toys (aka EU)
Funckarma
Apparat
And there are two great IDM labels - Toytronic & Neo Ouija - almost all their releases are excellent!
Almost forgot - check Fizzarum and Christmass Tree Toys - excellent IDM from Russia |

I love that squarepusher track..."Red Hot Car". OR something like that. Really well crafted...
Also theres a plaid track that is an all time favorite piece of music at LSD. One of the most beautiful pieces of beat-less music EVER written. Unlike anything else they've done actually... |

Kebab - I should take your recommendations more seriously - Metamatics also ranks in my top 10 favorites (all genres).
Murcof, Bauri, Brothomstates, Machine Drum, Autechre and Venetian Snares at the moment, even though I still stick to the thought that Aphex Twin creates the most openminded music.

I agree russ. That track was one of the first that really showed me what could be done with audio. I used to play it a lot but people quite often took it the wrong way!
(even worse was when my dad heard my friend alex singing the chorus "I want to f*ck you in my red hot car" and got really weirded out and thought we were in a sex cult)
In terms of warp sleaze the prize, in my opinion, goes to Jimi Tenor. The guy is outrageous. Really inspiring. He shows that dance music really does get you girls as we all long suspected.

even worse, apparently what he is actually singing hidden away somewhere in the glitches is:
"I want to f*ck you with my red hot c*ck" !
...but a killa chorus anyway |
