I want to thank Yossi for putting a link to my web site. My son is the youngest turntablist. Cameron was born 1 lbs 12 ozs the day I turned 6 1/2 months pregnate. Since he was an infant he loved to sit with his dad and watch dj videos and since his dad was a dj he was exposed to other djs almost every day. He was a sponge. One day he just crawled up on a crate of records and began to spin, and would cry if you took him off You would never want to make the baby cry. So he broke needles and broke tables over and over till he got it right. I think he wanted to come out early to play on the turntables. He was born to shine. His teachers say he is a prodigy, "I think one of the first of his kind at such an early age". He is now 6 years old just opened up for one of his idols Mix Master Mike one of the djs he grew up watching TV while drinking his bottle. Come and see pictures of him show casing at DMC and some great Djs that recognize him as one of there own. He has a new web site. www.AKSHENANDYEAH.COM If you have any up coming events he is available. Thanks for the support. |

If you look at his stats he mostly plays at clubs Law states as long as the owner is aware and the parents are with the minor at all times because some young djs and barbacks that work for clubs are not even 21 years of age. So we would be interested if you still want to book. |

Wondering what's going on in this scene these days... Young kids that should be playing with friends, in school (or kindergarden) and sleeping are being exposed as "star" DJ's !!!!
It sickens me to see young kids exploided like this and put in front of party people on various drugs... This is not what our scene is all about!!!!
Sorry for my ranting that properly will cause a riot... But enough is enough... What's next in our scene? Midgets and freaks on display? |

| I do take offence to that, do you not think he has a regular life. Playing with kids his own age. He is a prodigy it comes natural for him. and we don't exploite him. We showcase. I bet if he came to your town you would be the first in line. By the way his nickname is Midget. "Don't hate"

A prodidgy? Come on now.... Just the fact that you call him a prodidgy makes me smell a rat here. A genious in sience is a whole different matter. And even they get exploided !!! It does not take a genious to mix vinyl
Be offended all you want. I still dont see the point in making small kids play at parties. Or as in your case also events like Carshows ect. It's for teens (as the lowest age) and up - NOT small kids that should be home in bed.
And last.
Why dont you write under your own name? Why use his "stage" name when it's not him behind the keyboard?
Are you in the right forum?
This forum is about psy/ambient/progressive ect... I dont see any hip-hop / R&B sign on the door
(no offense to the music)
And believe me I would never stand in line to see some kid behind the deks... I would rather call the Local authorities ! |

Clearly you don't have talent because you are willing to down play someone elses. If you read back to the first submit I was trying to get his name out there. I am very proud of my son and his acomplishment as you can see he was not suppose to survive. Any mildstone Cameron made I was proud.Thats what parents are proud. Were your parents ever proud of you. Because I have had doctors tell me he was going to be a very delayed child. So keep putting down a child who does what he loves and one he obviosly good at if it makes you feel better about yourself. If it makes you feel better The MOM OF

i think we are not here to judge wether his parents gave him the opportunity to be a dj or "told him to be one". it's sad of course if the last one is a fact but i dont get this feeling in this case (dj yeah). maybe its the child's dream? maybe it's passion, love? nothing wrong here as long as it is like this and the parents take their responsebility and free-choice to the child.
still i dont see any reason for offences/accusations here...we usually try to solve things without them, dj yeah.
