Trance or psychedelic trance?

I've been wondering if people that call theyer selves "TRANCERS" are into all kinds of trance or just into psychedelic trance.
Because here in brazil a lot of Trancers donteven know what minimal is...for example
so r u into the hole thing or only to psychedelic??? |

Cant hear other styles of trance like club trance or tiesto kinda of stuff...

ya many newbies have got tiesto cds while coming to my place ..saying hey see ive got some trance collection for you.. have u heard this ? i just have to smile and say what we hear is different .. its not this. its different. i dont like 2 categorise music but then have to tell them its house n all... sometimes it gets hard to describe the genre of music we freak on.. looks like only we know the difference 
Many of our tracks i cant really call psychedelic so i dont even say we listen to psychedelic trance.

Yes, the word trance is confusing, most people think about something completely different when talking about trance music.

the thing is that, when i am here in an international forum, i use the term "trance" or "trancer" because its shorter and it sounds catchy. but when i'm talking directly to people here i'm a "psytrancer" because when i'd say "trancer" at least in switzerland people would think i'm a candyraver in diving suit and goofy gloves.

trance encompasses various genres of music........
people on Isratrance sure know what psytrance is and identify with it but others classify trance differently.....
i know many people to whom trance is just noise and they mistake it for house and stuff like that
they havent even heard of psytrance....
anyways i love psytrance only

Psychedelic Trance is a branch of Trance which existed before Psychedelic of course
I like both kinds of music anyway

i think its wikid that psychedelic has been kept out of the mainstream gaze for the length of time it has.
