Ari is back with a Bang !! Gr8 cd from TIP World

Here we go
1. Magic... Perfect track to blast of the cd. His baseline top notch as always!Has some super melody to it.

2.Groovy ... Ari on sounds somewhere in btwn Astrix - Fire and Talamasca - Aries , but this track still sounds very different from those 2. Has some gr8 tunes and flutes play in the middle. This one sure is Grooooovyyy.

3.Who Has The Marijuana?... This one has a Hilarious sample sound like a stoned freak wanting the marujuana to the first row! Good peak/break too

4.I Remember The First Time...The most famous sample in Psy history used once again in this track . Still this one sounds much better than the orignal track with this sample!

5.One Good (Remix)... This is a smasher which he has tweaked even more and turned it into a monster.Much more groovy compared to the orignal. The best track on the album in my opinion the tune is Heaven!

6.Fantasy...Bit less power in this one compared to the other , has some of the typical Ari tunes which u find in most of his track.

7.Secret ... Good sample which goes like ''I have a secret a very big secrect!''

8.Nitro Punch... Not a very groovy track, a little lower down on the list

9.Rapiginio ...This one goes insane towards the end with the peak and a soulfull sample shout out.Nice voice modulations in here.

An excellent album , good work by Ari once again has proved he is one of the best act around in this seen. Keep Bombing us with more bangers like this

because my last review has been deleted i will publish it again....
ok this is the akbum playlist:

1. Alien Project - Magic (8:13)
2. Alien Project - Who has the Marijuana (7:04)
3. Alien Project - One Good (rmx) (8:01)
4. Alien Project - Secret (6:35)
5. Alien Project - Rapiginio (6:26)
6. Alien Project - Nitro Punch (8:40)
7. Alien Project - Fantasy (7:33)
8. Alien Project - I remember the first time (7:02)
9. Alien Project - Groovy (6:18)

Ari the Alien doesnt disappoint either. Aztechno Dream was good and the pole was high but we think he may have cleared it!. He's come up with 9 brand new powerhouses that are simply awesome. They have energy, excitement, originality and an incredible production quality that is going to destroy all those big systems. Ari manages to get a clarity like no other. His music is full yet well spaced, full on yet extremely listenable and it always seems louder, cleaner and more powerful than anyone else's.

i liked it very much and recommend it to you alll.....enjoy...

This Cd is not as bad as some people would have you belive. It has its moments. I do think that much beter music has been put out this year. AP is still AP and if you like his sound this CD did not at all for one moment stray from that sound. Perhaps that is the problem?

Ari Linker is back with his fourth album...

Alien Project (Ari Linker) is out with his fourth album. He has previously released two albums on Phonokol and one album on TIP.World. Now he is releasing another album on TIP.World with a pretty cheesy cover art…

Alien Project "Don’t Worry, Be Groovy!" TIP.World 2004 (TIPWCD034)

1. Magic
2. Groovy
3. Who Has The Marijuana?
4. I remember The First Time
5. One Good (Remix)
6. Fantasy
7. Secret
8. Nitro Punch
9. Rapiginio

Alien Project was one of the first Israeli artists to start making this heavy, rolling trance, which so many other acts has followed the last couple of years. But he hasn’t changed much since his first album. First out is a pretty dark track with that heavy rolling bass line we have got a lot of from him on his albums. Strong beats, but not so interesting melodies and sounds as we get in Crunchy Punch tracks etc.

Track 2 is made together with Raja Ram. This track has a more pumping rhythm drift and some guitar sounds that sounds pretty cheesy and simple to me. You also get a little bit of flute in there, probably done by Raja Ram, but in my ears these guitars ruins the track.

Track 3 has the same heavy rolling full on vibe as most of his other tracks. But away from that, those voice samples with “who has got the marijuana now” sounds pretty stupid to me. Not that humorous is it? Also the melodies in this sounds really cheesy.

Track 4 has a bit more jumpy vibe with more jumpy psychedelic sounds. But here we get that voice sample that say “I remember the first time I smoke DMT”, which is used before by 1200 Mics! Why use that one again, especially when the original is so much better?

Track 5 is a track called One Good, which was originally released on his third album Aztechno Dream (TIP.World 2002). Here we get a remix he has done of this track. This track is better than the previous tracks on this album, but I don’t think it’s better than the original.

Track 6 is made together with Oforia (Ofer Dikovsky). This tracks sounds a bit more drifting, and is definitely better than most of the other tracks on this album, but it doesn’t sound very impressive, and it could easily have been a bit more varied.

Track 7 has some funny samples of laughter. Away from that, this has the same rolling bass line as most of his other tracks.

Track 8 is made together with Orion (Jean Borelli), which he does the Crunchy Punch project with. They just released a Crunchy Punch album (Maximum Velocity) together on Solstice Music. This track is my favourite track on this album. We get a more psychedelic vibe as soon as Orion is involved.

The last track we get here is also among the better ones on this album. You get the typical Alien Project groove, but not the cheesy parts, and the melody here is pretty funny.

In my opinion we didn’t need another album from Alien Project sounding like this. Here is not much development from his three other albums…

That's why I always listen to cd's very carefully at psyshop and saikosounds before buying. Even if it is an oldtimer like Ari, and you think: Well, his other albums were ok, so this should rock as well... while this does NOT rock. It's just as bland and unoriginal as the Crunchy Punch album (which wins the prize of worst album to date in 2004 from me, by the way) so steer well clear of this one. Most of you own previously released Alien Project albums like Midnight Sun (I own that one myself, and it's way better than this one) anyway, so ...

Oh yeah, this once again has all these shitty drug references. Come on Ari, be original for fuck's sake!!!
