it's a shame when artists don't get credits for their works... i always assume people will do the effort of asking me before using my work... so far i have always given them permission. but they hardly ever ask though...
I was just telling the co-admin of psygarden that he shouldn't just use material found on art sites for flyers without asking... he didn't think of it as a wrong thing to do... little does he know how much energy and time go into some pieces...
try mailing the respective organisers (they obviously have the budgets to get big names) to pay you a compensation... i doubt they lost money on the flyer design so far.

true... and they most likely would have gotten your permission if they asked... but they didn't.
if an organiser has 1500-3000$ for live acts... they should think about this.
