I know they are from San Francisco. I think it is 2 guys - I got to hang out with one of them earlier this year in Texas, but I forgot his name.  Really nice guy. They only have released one track that I know of, on the SF604 compilation (people in the North America section could help you more on that).
And yeah, their music is pretty crazy. I vaguely remember a trance remix of something like the Dallas (old soap opera) theme floating across the field when one of them was DJing this summer.

fractal cowboys are quite the guys. quasar has been hitting it off with a number of tracks that Goa Gil has been playing all summer includinig "give peace a trance". from Gils website links you can get to quasars site which has audio downloads. the sf crew is a little box of gems yet to be discovered. |

I hear fractal cowboys is Quasar and dylalien.
they both live in san francisco. Dylalien is often sharing a body with myself. thanks for the nice words about the music.

wow, you were at the Texas flip side. the dallas trac is by Jaffe, from Grapes of wrath. One of the most mindblowing tracs of all time.
After a few months of travel time, quasar and I are back in the studio, working on some fractal cowboys tracs that we will test out this summer and release on an album this year. we have a song (megajesus of Evil) coming out on the Misstresses of Evil Compilation.
Quasar, just back from japan, has written some really good new tracs, and I have been working on psycho trance, as dylalien, and in the side project D&A.

I am working on an album and hope to be done in a few weeks. kind of a dark goa-ey type of thing.
Everything is starting to feel urgent again. Like there is syntax and subtext in everything. I feel a big awakening, from the "big sleep" of the millenium.
