Charm. Released the best progressive album this year (haven't heard Sensient's yet, and I like it a bit more than the Bigwigs' one), with perfect structure, awesome sound, quality production, very deep and dark music. Necton is another underrated project, for the same reasons more or less (with the wonderful Children of the Noisy Village last year).
Perhaps it would be better to say that all dark progressive music is underrated and even more so, underplayed at parties (enough of soft grooves at night, and no, full-on is not the only answer for this), and most truely psychedelic trance and more breakbeat oriented stuff doesn't really get a chance either (Rip Van Hippy, Bigwigs and even Younger Brother weren't played nearly at all this party season, and all had good and ORIGINAL albums this year).

i cant talk about the others, but Younger Brother is really hard to mix. maybe that has something to do with it since the cd itself is a mix cd, the only tracks that have a clean "exit" are "Magic monkey juice" and maybe... "Scanner" all the others ones are mixed already or have been released for quite some time and may not have been desired to be played by dj's.
never the less... its my fav. album of 2003  "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

Segment RULES!!!!! The "01" album is awesome!
I also love MAGNETRIXX - PHASE SHIFT album, similar style IMO...
Together with Atmos, Human Blue and Vibrasphere they are the best prog for me... |

my def of underrated would be an artist whose good but not given their worth .....
Mine would be :
-mindelight - some good rock n roll tunes in his
tracks ..cleverly blended
-Tikal - very original but yet quite reclusive IMO
-neuron compost
-datakult
-moodsyne - highly psychedelic nite tunes but
nothing much from him
-slum - both the albums were bombs specially the
1st one (make rainbow in your slum) yet i hardly
hear anyone talkin abt this project
-damage - hes been makin absolute dancefloor
smashers......yet not much accolades for him ?

What does idd mean? The Blowfish album is super! Also love* to Benza.
Shiit man! Know how long I've been trying to remember that name, Club Kooma! While traveling India I got a CD full of Club Kooma music from a Suomi guy, it was pretty wicked. Remind me, doesn’t one of the track include a pretty strange sample, this guy telling that she has to leave, get her out of here or something.. ? I remember once in a shop while tripping balls there was this woman acting strange towards me, the track came on magically. Get her out. If I’m not totally erroring here, could you remind me of how the sample goes again? I really didn’t like that woman, she was full of darkness. e. the CD, my copy is lost.
