Jirah is Tim McCall, whose interest for electronic music came from exposure to the Dallas party scene in the mid 90's.
He started djing in 96 and writing trance-orientated tracks in early 99. Tim released his first ep "pure" on [Universal Mind] in early 2000 shortly after he signed with Underground Sound of Tel Aviv (Usta / Krembo Records). Tim Moved to Seattle in
2000 to further pursue his dreams of music. He made his debut live performance at the Thump Radio 2-year anniversary party to
an overwhelming response. Since then he has played live shows throughout the Central and Western U.S. and knows how to get a
dancefloor moving. Jirah has earned a reputation for being a seamless dj and moving live act, transcending boundaries of
time and space and reaching out to touch the soul. His work is best described as energetic and uplifting psychedelic trance, which touches the past & soars right into the future.

I played a party last Saturday with Jirah. His music keeps getting better and better. Very nice full on morning sound.
He has a new 12" out... and an album should be released very soon! I can't wait!
There is some really great trance artists and DJ's coming out of the Pacific Northwest... (USA/CAN)

He is a producer from the USA. His music is ok but He feals that he can tell an artist how to decorate. Jirah has alot of singles out this month. I overheard him telling a local promoter that he needed to take down all the Shiva posters as well as a statue of buddah and even some hand made and painted clay skulls as he was christian and these things offened him. Why be in trance if Shiva offends you? Dont book this guy unless you are christian or do not have shiva buddah chakra or other eastern stuff at the party.
We need a fluro Jesus at the partys now.

LoveLikeRain, i played after Jirah about 2 months ago, party was decorated with many deities other then christian ones... Tim did not say a word. further then that, he came across like the most polite individual i've met in a while... where do u get your info from?

i have to say that i have been working with tim a lot over the last year as we working closely together on his music and album. He is one of the most easy going and generous people i have had the pleasure to work with. Sounds strange to me..... |

Thank god for that! We are bringing him out to LA on the 4th of july and I usually dont feed into bullshit comments made like that. One would like to find out for themselves. But I have met many tempramental artists. I look forward to meeting Tim.
