ACE VENTURA aka PsySex (Iboga Records, Israel) – Live & DJ Set
Is one of the newest additions to the Iboga roster with a long involvement in the development of psychedelic music. Behind the project is 28 year old Yoni Oshrat. He was born in a musical family (his father is a famous Israeli composer and song writer), and previously worked in the TV and movie-industry as a sound producer. After DJ'ing for several years, he teamed up with his friend Dj Goblin to form Psysex. Together they released 3 critically acclaimed albums on HOMmega. His Ace Ventura project can best be described as deep, tribal and pumping progressive trance - pure dynamite on the dance floor. Ace Ventura has already appeared on releases from Iboga, Domo, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, and Flow Records. He’ll be be playing tunes from his upcoming album on Iboga - just in time for spring 2007.

CAPSULA (Ajana records, Isreal) Live
Capsula is Yosi Shamay , born in 1978 and living in Kfar Saba, Israel. Yosi began his music production at the age of 16. After a lot of mind opening travels in the world and the trance culture he decided to get a degree in chemistry . He studied Chemistry and Biophysics in BGU University between 2002-2005 and in that time he started producing psychedelic chill out. His main influence come from gurus like : Terence & Dennis McKenna, Alan Watts, Carlos Castaneda, Jonathan Ott and Favid Icke. Yosi samples lots of their inspiring speeches in his music. His main interest is creating music which induces the exploration of the inner dimensions and their dreamy landscapes.

The Chinese year 4705 begins on Feb. 18, 2007. 
Chinese New Year starts with the New Moon on the first day of the new year and ends on the full moon 15 days later. New Year's Day is celebrated as a family affair, a time of reunion and thanksgiving. At New Year celebrations people wear red clothes, decorate with poems on red paper, and give children "lucky money" in red envelopes. Red symbolizes fire. The communal feast is called “surrounding the stove" and symbolizes family unity.

i think the late start is a awsome idea. It will probably keep away most of the undesireables that plauged the ranch last year.

New Order,Hom-Mega, from MR Ace Ventura is one of my favorites from last year, if not the best compilation of 2006, if you ask me.
Nice that you guys will host his gig!
Psycore, for some weird reason I had forgoten that we were born around the same date, I still remember when we used to post out about the 21+ gigs which around 2002-03 we were not able to attend
