Enter the void between cycles of life and death to leave shadows of ego behind as we seed our worlds with clear visions of change to come. Under a dark Kali moon as the Hindu year ends we welcome some of the most talented female night psy artists in the country for powerful goddess vibrations to celebrate the birth of the new season through a trance dance desert ritual.
XYLA (Mistress of Evil / Shaman Films :: Cleveland)
On the eve of her debut album release Xyla gives a live performance of her bold new breed of electronica inspired by psychedelic trance, power noise and industrial which destroys any attempt to confine it to a genre. Within the driving bass lines, distorted atmospheres and haunting melodies of Esoterica she sculpts a world of harsh beauty and raw emotion compelling us to enter the depth of its realms.
FRIA (Tantrumm Records :: NYC / India)
Head of Tantrumm Records and well respected label DJ, Fria Kermani is a veteran of the Indian psytrance scene who now lives in New York City where she was busy last year releasing her first three outstanding compilations Peace For The Wicked, Freshly Squeezed and Tempus Viator along with the Jelly Headz debut album Pollution Violence Technology. She brings the freshest underground music to lead us on a journey through rich layers of full power psychedelia.
DAI (Psytribe :: Los Angeles)
LIAM SHY (Tantra :: San Francisco)
GREENMAN (Black Magik :: San Diego)
GATTO MATTO (Greensector :: San Francisco)
DYLALIEN (Alpha Centauri :: San Francisco)
MAGNOLIA (Pleiadian :: San Diego)
LEO (Mindfull :: San Francisco)
Visuals by EgNoRa (Shaman Films :: New York)
Firedance performances by UniFier :: http://www.myfiredancers.com
15,000 watt 14 cabinet sound by Network 23
XLR8R by the Omega Crew
The event will be from 8pm to 4pm at an easily accessible private location in the Mojave desert three hours north of Los Angeles and seven hours south of San Francisco. It's best to share rides and come early to set up camp before sunset. In spring the weather is perfect for dancing all day and a large fire will keep us warm through the night. There will also be a chillout cafe with drinks, food, music, massage and places to rest before heading back to the dancefloor. Please be sure to bring plenty of your own supplies and containers to take everything back with you.
See http://tribes.tribe.net/mindfull for rideshares :: Directions will be posted on March 15

I know its early for a rideshare request, but we have some special circumstances... so
The problem is Amanda and I have a commitment to be in Oakland by 7:00pm on March 18th. Soooo, we need to find a ride with someone who would be willing to come back early, like leave the party at about 10 am. We can definitely help with driving on the way there and back and chip in for gas and provide excellent conversation and charming company. I'd really prefer not to rent a car because we dont have much money. Please help us must.dance.in.desert.under.new.moon.need.more.fire.friends.freaks.fun...meow.
