Could anyone plzz advise ... on how to get samples from video games ???
not computer ones ... old ones like mario , contra , street fighter .... etc
or if anyone knows any sites where i can get them readily ... plz provide link

One thing you can do is to get the soundfiles and play them and sample while playing (like sampling a movie that is running on your computer).
There are plugins for winamp so that you can play commandore, nintendo, snes etc files

I don't.
p.s. you talk about old consoles ntn, from what I understood... no out puts there I believe.
Maybe in the new designs like the x box, playstation2 there are out puts. But I’m not sure.
I segue if you don't have out puts on the console, to use mic and record the sounds.
+ It will give it the "old" feeling in it...
Moreover, try to search the net, maybe you will find the samples you are looking for.

If there's no output on the console itself, there's always some kind of output on your tv And yes, some consoles have outputs. For instance for headset ...

Or u get a emulator for the console u want to sample and the romz of the games. Some emus have direct sound exporting fuctions
