Does anyone know what this "open bar" is? Some of my friend want to come but only if they feel they are getting there money's worth beyond Bud and two bottles of Rum. |

So how was Vibra? I would love to hear some party reviews since I was not able to attend, reason being im only 20 years old and in our lovely country thats just not old enough to dance trance 75% of the time. Let me know whatsup... |

you know what? it was so worth it. i never standing stupid in vibra's set. even i was standing sometimes for a couple seconds, his fat sound experience still blew my mind. not commercial. hell of a trip...
over all, all other dj sets (Yoni party, VITALIA, Dreamcatcher&Influx and Tecnological Arrow) did an incredible job and superp performances, sound system was very decent and support the venue very well.
happy new minds

Hi all. Here is my review of the Alladin Project's New Year's Eve party at 48 Bowery in New York City, and the after-party in Brooklyn.
I took the 8:48 Metro North train into New York City. I drank 4 beers on the train... a few minutes before the train pulled into the station I offered a couple of extra beers I had to a couple of cute blond girls sitting in the seat behind me. One of the girls asked me "is your name Malcolm?". It turned out it her name was Natalie and she had gone to high school with me. After we schmoozed and caught up on old times, traded phone numbers, I hopped the 4 train from Grand Central down to canal.
I was impressed with the artwork hanging from the walls at 48 Bowery. The free open bar until 11pm (I drank 4 free beers) and the free champagne at midnight, helped off-set the 60 dollar cover charge.
I was impressed with the music...I heard a lot of full-on and old school goa remixes. I met alot of Israelis and Brazilians and Cute Japanese girls at the party. I thought it was a wonderful night. Except for the soundsystem. It sounded as though the Sub-woofer was blown, and the high end of the mix was Way to loud.
After the party, Kelly Was nice enough to drive me and a bunch of Israelis we picked up over to Brooklyn.
The afterparty in Brooklyn at 55 lexington was really chill. When I got there Akin was spinning a nice full-on set. I got a chance to hear alot of new tracks of psytrance. I ended up staying all day....chilling drinking beer watching the animatrix....after the party I got a cup of coffee with Rebbeka and we discussed how the rainbow tribe (rainbow tribe= Big group of hippies) is looking for a place to hold their potluck dinner....then I took the 4 train to grand central...and slept the whole way back to Connecticut on the metro-north.
