Royal Doof is here again, after sourcing some amazingly talented international and local artists that will capture and entertain us with all sorts of incredible sounds and displays. Visual delights from Team Optrix (NZ), Booie Visuals, Jabberwocky with wide screen plasmas for daytime visuals. Just to ensure the eyes definitely have it, we’ll have wild décor by Planet Spanna & Canopi Crew.
First-aid, security, ample toilets, camping, and plenty of smiles will be provided to ensure everyone’s safety and well being over the weekend. To feed the hungry there will be a food & hot drink stalls and the CFA might have a cook-up on the Sunday for the meat lovers. With all the delights and superb sounds and artists from all corners of the world, these 3 days and 2 nights will pass all-too-quickly. But will definitely not be forgotten.
With friends around a the chill area and markets, a marquee, couches, undercover areas, and movies at night time, it wont take much convincing that you’ll regret it if you miss out. So make the most of the long weekend and experience this festival which only gets better, year after year.
THE ARTISTS
Scorb
Ady Connor (Scorb aka DJ Yod) is an artist and DJ for both Ambivalent and Last Possible Solution (LPS). Ady also performs Graphic Design duties for both labels. Ady has a number of side projects: RAM, a Full-On project with Paul Wright (NRS), Squid Inc., dark & progressive With Santos DeCastro (Deviant Species). Also Orzel's Machine, a Techno project with Mike Rucinski (Numbworx).
Early 2006 involves a busy release schedule starting with tracks and artwork for the new Ambivalent Compilation; "Further Ambivalent Tendencies", and LPS compilation; "Denial & Error". Shortly after, the second RAM album: "Killerbites", the eagerly awaited follow up to 2004's "Efficient Chips". And of course the long awaited Second Scorb Album: "IPSO FVCTO" which includes collaboration with Deviant Species to be released for the 2006 Festival Season.
Ady is in big demand for his energetic Live and DJ sets and has played all over the world including Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and the US .
MENOG
Involved with music at the early age of 10, he made his first attempts with drums and other noise inducing machines. Nowadays he regularly plays drums, guitar, bass and of course, synths. His interest for electronic music started at the first Boom Festival in 1997. Six years later Dani released his first album under the name Menog (Starsounds Rec.). Since 2003 he’s released several tracks on various compilation and labels worldwide. 2005 was the release of EMOTIONS from Spectral Records, and 2Ü solo album. Menog is also a founder and manager of the new Spectral Records. Many releases will be emerging from this label over the upcoming months like Planet ben rec., Shiva Space Tech, Phantasm rec, Space Tribe Music, Digital Psionics rec, Mechanik Sounds, Fungi Rec, Noize Conspiracy, Hadra rec. Union etc... Over the past 3 years he’s played in parties all over the world such as India, Brazil, Russia, Morocco, Cyprus, Greece, Mexico, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, London, Spain, Portugal, All his music is a story with a beginning, middle and end and all his tracks are made with one purpose... to make people DANCE!!
U-RECKEN
U-reckon (Yaniv) was immediately recognized as a extremely unique & talented artist when the Doof family in 2003 and Being a true musician & an experienced sound engineer he managed to bring his musical fantasies to the world with crystal clear precision without compromising the warmth of his music.
Yaniv Ben-Ari turned to trance in ‘98 at the age of 20. Born in Haifa, Israel, he played in rock bands since age 14. Soon after, he worked as a music producer & sound engineer at recording studios in Israel and at theater plays in New York & Great Britain. The long exposure to music drove him to start Dj-ing & organizing trance parties. He became involved in Doof Records shortly after progressed from dj-ing to making his own music & has moved from harsh dark, full on trance, to a more melody based (yet still pumping) form of psytrance. It’s Music that touches your soul with its melody and harmony but does not fall to kitsch or cheese.
With the release of his debut album AQUATIC SERENADE (Dooflex Rec.) his tunes have been rocking dance floors all over the world. This is Hypnotic and complex music for your spirit, body and soul with some new & surprising styles that will uplift any listener.

DIRECTIONS (FROM MELBOURNE)
Drive up from Melbourne past Ballarat on the Western Hwy. Approx 20km after Beaufort, turn right at Ben Nevis a road at Buangor towards Warrak and Eversley. Turn right again onto the Pyrenees Hwy and travel for about 5 km. Then turn towards Landsborough on the Elmhurst-Landsborough Road. When you see the sign for Glenlofty-Warrenmang Road turn and follow the signage to the party. Please drive safely, to and from.
I'm looking forward to seeing both the Queen and yourself stompin some dust down on the dance floor!!!
