maybe someone here can help.....So ive been using resolume for my VJing, this software is sound reactive. For practice, i would like to run my ipod through the line-in on my PC so resolume will detect this.......the issue is, i can not get the sound to come out of my speakers.....

Resolume is definitely detecting the sound coming in from the ipod.

I have the Line-in chked and unmuted on both my sound card setting and the pc settings under the control panel....any reason i cant get sound to my speakers? i am running XP

can you describe the flow of audio ..

Ipod ( 1/8th inch to RCA ) into ( pc soundcard ? / what kind of sound card ) then ( audio output to speakers, connection type , etc .. ) ( type of speakers/ amp ? )

also, their may be a software setting to allow the audio input to be "monitored" so that it passes through to the audio output (line out)
