Hi all,
check out my latest track. This one I made the beat without any quantization, except the kick every percussion element is drawn in by hand to make the groove feel more broken, and I also only used samples from household items or self-synthsized percussive elements. Apart from that you`ll find that a recently deceased crackhead Diva makes her appearance, hehehe...

i like the vibe of this. pretty hypnotic.
constructive feedback: the synthy sound that comes around 43 seconds seems kind of out of place and doesn't really add anything. i would definitely change it or even take it out completely. also, it felt like the bass should coincide with the kick. since the kick is so quiet and not deep, i think it would sound cool to have that bass kind of morphing from underneath it. at the same time, the way it is now kind of adds to that broken groove feel you were going for, so maybe doing that will take away from it.

About the Kick/Bass, yeah you are right, it takes away from the wonky broken groove feel if you put right underneath the kick, I tried that at first but I thought this fits the vibe of the track better.
