I am sure this might be of interest to both organisers & bunch of people attending the lovely gatherings.
Startford Rex in my opinion has hosted successfully the best events. Amazing vibe.

I agree that the Stratford Rex is the best venue for indoor trance parties in London. The vibe there is unbeatable. It is a shame that it is so rarely used nowadays - don't think anything's yet been booked there for 2005 |

Yep, Mayfair does it for me, Coronet doesn't feel right for a trance night to me for some reason. Maybe I just have bad memories of other nights there filled with rude boys. |

Was that Event Horizon last February? - Was an amazing party . Stratford may sound far but it is really only 3 stops further than Liverpool street on the cental line. Hope there will be more events there in the future....... |

..is that why you made a flyer totem to pay homage edna?
to the matter in hand, i think that the mass is my favourite venue of the last year, the sound system in the second room is wicked and it is the best place to play for a progressive crowd in london.

Taking the discussion beyond the M25.. sadly two of my fave venues shut down in 2004
The Arches in Sheffield
The Depot in Bristol
Both had a very similar feel to them - lots of scope for wondering around, very freindly crowds, great atmosphere and both had hosted many parties over the years.. and now both shut.. |

tom's right
back room in mass is absolutely brilliant,
(and reminds me of my favourite indoor venue ever also N of M25 - west indian centre, leeds:
simpley doesnt get better )
and mass' fronts good fun too eh!! you can either get down and dirty in the moshpit or peruse the mayhem and synth action from above
niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice
tom it is not a totem pole you meany!!!
