Hi Music freaks =)
This is a question for cubase Sx3
I have a midi recording that iv done where all velocity is different, but now i need to lower the velocity but i want to keep the live dynamic feeling
So i just want to lower everything as it is,
Is this possible and if it is how do i do it?
I hope you can help so i can keep the feeling cause it seems impossible to lower each individual note and make it the same as when i played...
Of course maybe i can just lower the parts where it gets over saturated/almost distorted
Still the question is valid, is it possible?
i hope its clear what i am after =)

im coming from ableton so I don't particularly know how cubase is organized...but there isn't a way to select all the notes and then drop the total velocity down a notch without interfering with the relative position of all the notes? seems like a relatively simple operation, i'd be very surprised if there wasn't a way to do that

Yes i think so too, the thought just came to me and as i felt so talkative(writeative,lol) i thought id drop the question here...
I must take a deeper look but if someone knows straight from their mind please do tell me =)
