I noticed that the volicty at sylenth1 doesn't affect the volume. i trigger the volume to the velocity at the right side of the vst but it doesn't work! i started track with bassline from the sylenth and i have to make it work |

you mean in the misc section?
Otherwise i don't see a velocity anywhere.
in the misc section you have to apply it to something to make it work. To the filter for example.

Or volume in this case?
Anyway like Wizack says... its almost always the best solution for control

Hi!
Velocity You can set in Misc1 or Misc2 section.
Select source: Velocity
Then below, select: Volume (A,B or AB) and move the knob to the right (how much is Your choice)

i did it and it doesn't affect the volume somehowe...i thought about export some notes and work on it with sampler but i prefer to keep using the sylenth. and it's so wired because i have another channel of sylenth that the velocity works although the velocity doesn't affect anything at the misc section |

Same here. Have version 2.2... And whatever i do i cant get velocity control, its really annoying. (Ok,. for bass you could sample, but i prefer not to, and for everything else its not an option...)
If someone know about this it would be much appriciated! |

If i (in the misc section of sylenth) link velocity to volume AB i can get it to react to velocity, but only the wrong way: if i pull the knob to the left (counterclockwise) it will play lower volume the harder i press the key on my midi keyboard, but if turned right then you would expect normal velocity control to happen, but really nothing is. Any ideas?
Hmmm... |

damn vst's....it became my favourite vst but it realy dissapointed me now. i guess i should draw volume automation to make the volume change every note |

link the velocity to the ocsillator volume , add amount of modulation ,lower the oscillator level (some vsti work like that, you lower the volume and the velocity ll raise it) |

Tanx PoM! Solved it,... but i had to put the oscillators volume all the way down to zero,.. wierd design |
