June if someone dislike all meat taste then he/she have problem since every mean have different taste, human is sweet for example as Trapp's african friends probably know. |

I agree with Trapp all the way. In fact, one could say I would go even further than him, but let's not get into that now. But, I must say I agree with EYB as well. This topic should be deleted, since it has absolutely no relevance at all. This has nothing to do with music.

Ok, so I am new here, but I have to join this fray because it looks exciting...
I think the idea of vegetarianism is almost as sick as the idea of electro-shock therapy. If you look at how the human body has evolved, most of the unneccessary features have been eradicated, apart from those needed for sexual reproduction/attracting a mate (like pubic hair) and incisors (which one would use to tear meat, from what my maxillofacial surgeon tells me) - now if humans were NOT meant to eat meat, surely those would have been replaced by the evolutionary process in order to make us far more compact and less hairy and toothy?
Now I am all for people becoming vegetarians for health reasons - but what real health reasons can you have for avoiding something that for all intents and purposes is GOOD for you in moderate amounts?
Everyone knows that vegetarians suffer from anaemia because they lack essential minerals, and because most of them are strict and avoid eggs, milk, meat, fish AND chicken they generally end up being the kind of people you don't want to have at a dinner party... not much of a recipe for a healthy lifestyle or headspace if you ask me...
But that's just my humble opinion  And I love meat, I have never had any diseases from meat, June...In fact I am really allergic to lactose and gluten and meat is pretty much the only thing I can eat. South African meat doesn't get affected by mad-cow disease anyway  |

I eat meat, I'm not ashame or proud of that.
I don't think people are better or worse (as human beings) because of what they eat.
Of course you need to have on your diet all that your body needs, this is a fact. I know anemic vegetarians and too fat or high cholesterol meat eaters.
Vegetarians can have a diet with all they need, the just need to be very careful. And eating meat is safe if you take care too.
I have a farm, my father take care of the animals, they are all very docile, but we all know someday they'll be eaten, the same way someday I will die.
We should not fight each other because of what we eat. We should respect each other's way of life and keep doing what we think is the right thing to do.
