hey gutter mate, you obvously in sum kind of dilema with your self... thas my technique of making a fat bass wilst keeping lo's rock solid.. not phase mate no phase thas the point
|
|
the only phase i can thing of is not synced two oscillators bass patch, when talking about a mono sound and especially for a bass made with one oscillator, how can that produce phase? its in the center and it is one waveform
for being "fat" all it needs is a fat waveform or a combination of two, and /or distortion/saturation thats all

You can add a phaser to a single oscillator and still get that phasing effect. A phaser is basically a series of throughs sweeping the frequency spectrum of what ever sound you put through them, which sounds different to the effect you get when you have two oscillators runing free at close frequencies, but not identical.

Gutter, i ment The corrilation of A STEREO BASS channel LO END if a phasor used , of corse the stereo channel of the base will be phasing... dont worry about it. i wus just letting oblisk aware of antiphasing if used a phasor on the bass with no feqency split. gunna cause a -corrilation. i wus expalining that have a channel dedicated to the lo end. then do what u FUCKING WANT to the high end. |

Its not going to stop me from liking a tune, if the music is good and the bassline plays a good pattern, I'll dance to it like the next guy...its just that its pretty much the standard bass synth in tunes I don't like.
It comes down to taste obviously, but I really don't get what people like about it.

I am new at this. Any tips for the TAU and Cubase? I love the Tau, but sometimes it is not as apparent as I would like....
assumption is the mother of all fuckups. |

Zen mechanics uses VB1 alot, and he has very chunky basslines. He said he used it for his track 'modified' too which is very low, but he also said he added a lo of processing to it. |
