vb1 diffrent in sx2?

i decided to use sx2 since there is no point learning sx1....
i did fiddle around with sx1 for a week, i made a cool baseline but now that i open it in sx2 it sounds off... like something is not set right..
is the vb1 itself any diffrent?

off beat every few notes (when i loop it)
off tune - it sounds very diffrent although it kept the same eq setting and fx plugins.
