VB-1 and Cubase studio 4

I cant figure this out. When I load vb-1 and hit a key on my synth, a constant howling noise begins.. for every time I hit a key the noise gets louder. I am a novice cubase user, so maby the fault is mine. Ive tried deleeting vb-1 and use a "new" but its the same thing.
anyone?

i had the same problem with cubase sx3, but i didn't solved it.
later i reinstalled my whole pc and then it works.
so it's not a problem fpr cubase sx 4 only... |

You may be best off asking this question over at the Cubase.net forums. If it's a problem people know about, then they probably have come up with a solution to work around it (without having to completely reinstall everything)
